Evaluating your STEM engagement activities is key to ensure you are making the best use of your available resources and achieving the greatest possible impact. This guide provides an overview of different approaches to data collection and analysis that STEM engagement providers may want to consider for their own evaluation.

The guide includes considerations on evaluating a STEM engagement activity, it explains what ‘causality’ or ‘causal effect’ refer to, and provides information on the suitability of certain approaches to demonstrate the impact of an initiative. It also includes a table with short examples of evaluation methods in practice.
