Get involved

The theme for the 13th Tomorrow’s Engineers Week has been announced as Dare to discover, showing young people that you don’t have to get it right the first time. Trial and error is at the heart of engineering and technology and we'll be encouraging students to become robust and adaptable problem-solvers.

To help bring the theme to life for young people, we're seeking engineers and technicians to share their stories. Can you talk about a project where things haven’t quite gone according to plan? Or have you worked on something that had a different outcome than expected?

We're also looking for people who haven’t taken a ‘straight’ path into the industry to talk about their career and journey.

These stories – written or video – will be included in resources shared with schools for Tomorrow’s Engineers Week. They'll show young people it’s ok to not get things right first time. Drop us a line and let us know if you're interested.

Get in touch!

Whether you're an engineer, a STEM expert, an educator, or part of an engineering organisation, there are many ways to get involved with Tomorrow's Engineers Week. The campaign supports schools and teachers to inspire their students with exciting engineering and technology career activities.

Engineers, companies, organisation and professional institutions are invited to get involved to help us break down stereotypes. We want to introduce young people to the organisations contributing to the UK's engineering landscape, and who support cultivating future talent. Your help will be appreciated greatly.

A stakeholder toolkit will be available in October.
