Jubilee and BP/IET Faraday scholarships
Jubilee and BP/IET Faraday scholarships are open to students who will achieve a minimum of three 'A' grades at GCE 'A' level or five 'A' grades SCE Highers or at least three 'A' grade Advanced Higher (or equivalent).
A scholarship fund in the memory of Bill Kerss was established in 1998 for the benefit of young engineers. This scholarship is available for award every four years. Bill Kerss, FIEE, was a member of the IEE for more than 40 years and spent his working life in the electricity supply industry. He was Chairman of the Power Division in 1995/96 and was National Grid’s first Chief Executive.
Can I apply?
The Scholarships are open to students who will commence an IET accredited MEng degree or a course covered under the terms of the accreditation agreement with the IEI in the Republic of Ireland, in the next academic Session.
