Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (#TEWeek17) returns for the fifth year from 6-10 November 2017.
We’ll be showing how engineers are on a mission to make the world a better place. We’ve made it easier than ever for engineers across the country to get involved in the Week and for our partners to help spread the word.

Make a social media noise at the start of Tomorrow's Engineers Week by signing up with our Thunderclap.
Thunderclap will automatically post a message from your Twitter and/ or Facebook account at 9am on the 6th November.
With everyone talking about #TEWeek17 at the same time, we'll trend on Twitter and Facebook and send the message even further.
For every account that signs up to send this message, the bigger the online reach of Tomorrow's Engineers Week 2017 will be.
We’ve recently created a Tomorrow’s Engineers guide to the amazing world of engineering careers. To countdown to the Week, we’re turning it into social media content. We’d love to have your help:
In your tea break:
Share the content from the Tomorrow’s Engineers social media accounts – we’ll be posting this regularly from 6 September right through to the end of #TEWeek17. Ask your staff to do the same.
In an hour:
Create your organisation’s own #FromIdeaToCareer content to show how young people can take their ideas, passions and dreams and turn them into engineering careers.

Throughout #TEWeek17, we’ll be celebrating the engineers who got into their careers to help improve people’s lives. We’ve got some great stories of engineers using their skills to solve some of the world’s biggest problems from helping people recover from natural disasters and creating renewable energy to tackling homelessness and developing new cures for diseases.
We’d love you to join a mission to help with the campaign!
On a quick mission:
We’ll be creating a series of films and social media content showcasing some inspirational engineers on a mission – share
this content throughout #TEWeek17
On a short mission:
Create your own suite of social media content showcasing your firm’s mission, the case studies who are helping make the world a better place and hashtag #EngineerOnAMission so we can see them.

On a day-long mission:
Take inspiration from our heroes and create your own #EngineerOnAMission film
If you’re up for a bigger challenge:
Think about how #EngineerOnAMission could inspire a school visit or workshop and work with the Tomorrow’s Engineers team to make this one of our “hero events” of #TEWeek17.
We will have two news stories hitting the headlines to promote #TEWeek17.
If you’re really busy:
Help us spread the word by posting content in your newsletters, on your website and across social media channels. Infographics and the press release will be available to communications contacts nearer the time.
If you’ve got a bit more time:
Develop case studies that could support our news stories. We want to hear about:
o Young engineers working on robotics
o Young engineers in their dream career
Nominate a communications contact for our team to liaise with about the Week – we’ll make sure they’re kept up to date on the plans for the Week and new social media content. During the Week itself, we’ll send a daily update of key content to share on social media.
