Why did you take part in the TE Energy Quest programme?
The activity sounded very interesting and engaging for pupils. It was an excellent opportunity for them to get hands on experience in a ‘real life’ scientific situation and investigation.

Why is it important to you to inspire your pupils to consider engineering as a career option?
A lot of pupils don’t realise that there are many opportunities for them that aren’t directly a core science subject. This experience gave them the opportunity to realise this.

What would you say to other schools thinking about taking part in the programme?
It is an excellent opportunity for pupils to gain hands on experience in engineering and renewable energy.
