Tomorrow's Engineers
About us
Tomorrow’s Engineers is more than a one stop shop for information and resources about the amazing careers available in engineering. We also run a schools programme to help inspire the next generation of engineers.
Working with businesses, not for profit organisations and charities, the programme is made up of a number of initiatives, such as industry visits, workshops, Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Ambassador partnerships and careers resources, to help schools to incorporate engineering into the current curriculum and plant the seeds needed to grow local engineering talent needed by businesses.
Tomorrow’s Engineers is led by EngineeringUK and the Royal Academy of Engineering, with support from The Lloyd’s Register Educational Trust and others.

Careers information and resources
We are working with The Institution of Engineering and Technology, The Institution of Mechanical Engineers and The Institute of Physics to develop a programme of careers resources that provide clear, consistent guidance for young people aged between 9 - 16 and their teachers.
Resources are designed to enthuse and encourage young people and teachers to seek out additional information about engineering from the Tomorrow’s Engineers website. Materials are adaptable to suit both younger and older students, cover regional variations and promote both traditional and non-traditional routes.
The programme complements messaging at the core of existing national STEM enhancement and enrichment activities, and supports curriculum based work. Resources are distributed using existing networks, such as The Big Bang, Tomorrow’s Engineers, professional institution networks and activities, the National STEM Centre, National Science and Engineering Week and STEM Ambassadors.
